Fish and potato cakes were great! We had grilled blue grenadier. The only thing i would improve is the chips, but the potato cakes were so good you could just get them instead!
Awesome fresh fish and chips. Call in here if you want quality, inexpensive fish and chips at Hobart.
We were so looking forward to having a good choice for a gluten-free meal but sadly they were out of gluten-free buns and our burger choices all had to be scrapped which was disappointing. Ended up with grilled fish and chips and crumbed chicken tenders. The food was well cooked and tasty but nothing special. The shop was freezing cold and may have well been sat out in the street as there was no heating.
Pricewise it was value for money.
Unsure where all these good reviews are coming from but they must be comparing them to other local shops with not many to compare to. Grilled barramundi was ok, but for $17 I wanted great. Extra $2 for grilled in stead of batter? Really!?!
The chips were terrible and inedible, the family pack was below average with the batter being over cooked. For the price they charged it should have been fresh. The tartar sauce was nice and made everything else edible.
The food was great, not oily and great gluten free foods and lots of gluten free options. I loved that you could get the variety packs gluten free too.
Gluten free fish and chips and popcorn chicken were great but the gluten free deep fried turkish delight left me speechless. 10/10
Good non greasy fish and chips? Yes please. Food was good, portions were big and there were more than 2 gf options
Gluten free popcorn chickens are soooo good. We went there for chickens haha And the guy who is working at the shop is super kind and we went there so many times while we are in Hobart. Thank you so much for your generosity❤️
